VK SL GROUP AThe Group A name was first seen in the form of the SL Group A and unlike the SS group A, the cars were available in 4 colours, Alpine White, Venetian Red, Asteroid Silver and Walton's Blue (a shade noticeably darker than the "Formula" Blue equivalent). Based on the SL commodore, they were sparsely optioned from factory, but buyers could choose from many different bodykit components, with some even sporting wind splitters. The interior featured standard SL spec seats, but Scheels could be ordered and trimmed up to match if the owner desired. Aero wheels were again standard fitment, but were the 15 inch variety and came with a painted silver finish. Naturally, the wheel and tyre package could be optioned up and a few of these cars were still being produced during the SS Group A's production.
