There have been some major developments for HDT in Melbourne. HDT is very proud to announce they have appointed Rare Spares, with their two outlets in Melbourne as Authorised Stockists of HDT Products. In both of the Rare Spares stores there will be sections dedicated to HDT products. So our many Melbourne HDT customers have twice the opportunity to visit and view our products. The other very obvious advantage is that they also offer weekend trading, so it is even easier to purchase HDT.
It has a been a concern of some HDT customers that supply issues were prevalent when they last dealt through Rare Spares. We need to be very clear on this matter, that those supply issues were the total responsibility of the previous HDT ownership, not Rare Spares. As most of you would know, the turnaround times for delivery on most products from HDT is extremely efficient. This will not change if you order through Rare Spares. Each store will maintain a level of stock on hand and anything out of stock can be shipped within days from Sydney.
Peter Champion and his team are very excited about the association and can only see this as being advantageous to all HDT customers. "To be able to re-establish and working relationship with Rare Spares is great, they are very reputable company who know the spare parts game very well" says Peter. Darren Gillis, HDT Manager is also keen to let people know that he is already working with Rare Spares to develop some club based events that will be hosted at the Rare Spares stores.
"While there is still a little bit of work to be done before the products are on the Rare Spares shelves, we are very close" says Darren. All products are undergoing a packaging makeover and this is our current delay, but it wont be long before we are right to go.
