Peter & Sandy Champion, and their special guest, Peter Brocks' son, Robert Brock, were thrilled to be able to attend the Launch of the HDT Special Vehicles at Peter Page Holden this week. General Manager, Paul Page, his father, Peter Page, and associated staff and family members were all thrilled to be able to have HDT "back on the floor" at Peter Page Holden.

Peter Page Holden has a long and fruitful association with HDT, having been the first dealer to back Peter Brock in his HDT Special Vehicles venture in 1980. This passion for HDT has now been translated to the new generation, with Peter's son Paul, now the General Manager. "Peter Page Holden and HDT Special Vehicles have a very rich history, so it made sense for Peter Page Holden to get back on board with HDT's New Generation. Peter Page Holden and HDT Special Vehicles have a very passionate business relationship, and one that I hope will continue long into the future." Mr. Page said. Just a lion's roar from the Holden factory, in Elizabeth, Peter Page Holden has been in operation for thirty-six years, situated at their Elizabeth Way address. Originally known as United Motors, Peter Page took over in 1973 and has been a high-profile Holden dealer ever since.

As a part of the launch celebration, there was also a special draw for a chance to win a trip to the Champions Brock Experience in Yeppoon, QLD, inclusive of flights and accommodation. Champions Brock Experience is the private collection of HDT owner Peter Champion, with houses the foremost collection of Peter Brock road and race vehicles in the country. Amongst the amazing showcase of some 40 vehicles, you can find the first car Brocky raced at Bathurst in 1969, the fully restored HT Monaro, right through to his 2004 Targa Tassie Monaro. One particular highlight is the 1984 Bathurst winning Group C VK 'Big Banger', now considered in the top 50 race cars in the world is also housed here, along with a huge array of Brock memorabilia, including scrapbooks, trophies and race apparel.
